Do the Rv dealers take in trades? If we don't sell ours in a few months, i would consider that option.
Is coachman a good brand? Thanks for all the replies!

Yes, they do. But just like a new car dealer, they'll lowball you on the trade-in. You'll get more from a private sale, but now isn't an ideal time to be selling a trailer, house, car, etc.
It's a buyers marker for sure, the rv dealers will have to lower prices and financing to sell units.
In Mn its amazing how many rv dealers there are. We paid cash for our toy hauler, so no payments are nice.
Since this thread came back up, I popped over to Craig's List to see if there were any bargains on used Arctic Fox or Desert Fox trailers (Northwoods Mfg). No luck. They still command a premium.
When I made up my mind to buy the Desert Fox 21SW I looked for months to find a one that was only a few years old to no avail. I could only find units that were around 10 years old. The smaller 21SW is even hard to find brand new. For some reason people think bigger is better. I wanted the SW 21, which actually measures 22ft, because it actually has a larger payload than their 24 ft model and I haul a really large and heavy UTV. Also, I did not want to sleep in a closet sized stuffy bedroom up front. I actually had to remove the lower bunk to fit my Can Am Defender in. With only one bed, I never have to share the camper with my buddies or another couple.....PERFECT!!!
I had a 2017 33' Crusader 5er from Forest River. We purchased new but it did have some issues up front. The dealer fixed everything but it was completed over a two and 1/2 week span. We just traded it in this past March on a 2020 41' Heartland Torque 371 toy hauler. We had a few minor issues when we did the walk thru but everything was fixed prior to towing it home. We are very anxious to get our first trip in to really make sure everything is working correctly. I also ordered a 2020 F350 to pull it. Just waiting for the all clear here in Pa. What ever you decide on, just keep in mind that campers are not made for everyday living so a lot depends on how you take care and maintain your unit. Being handy and can fix things yourself goes a long way. Good luck
