Tire/Wheel Size

Sorry for what is probably a redundant question. I spent about 90 minutes searching and reading last night with no luck finding an answer.

I want to get some wheels and tires for my 2017 f250 platinum. I want to go with 20x10 wheels with -18mm offset and a tire some where around 35x12.5 or 35x11.5 tire. The place im talking to is saying it may rub on stock suspension
Does anyone have a similar set up that can attest to whether or not i have rub issues?

Thanks in advance!

Look at Custom Offsets it will tell you or just email them and they will get back with you on what will work.

IMO that much offset will probably be the main issue. If u go with something closer to 0 it would make it more possible.. it would still give u some tire poke and a nice stance.. But as stated before, custom wheel offsets has a ton of pics in their galleries and info to help u out

I agree with the two post above mentioning to check-out Custom Wheel Offsets.

This link is priceless in understanding how the changes in wheel width and offset work. https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

Too much negative offset and will rub. Too much positive offset and will rub.
The same offset for a 20x10 means different backspacing compared the same offset on a 20x9.

If you want to keep it stock and not rub go with a 20x9 with a 0 to +20mm offset range. A 20x9 +20 with 35x12.5 will have the same backspacing as the stock wheel so it will be as tucked as can be without rubbing the inside. And being tucked means it won't rub on the outside on the mud flap or bumper edge. Going 20x10 and using 11.5 wides is very counter productive. Also alot of 20x10 have negative offset that fits better with a level.
