Ford's F1 is arguably the most important truck in history, and this beautiful red example is still standing tall.

This is a perfect example of how to ruin a classic truck. Being an old hot rodder I'm all for improving the drivetrain and suspension but slicing and dicing the roof absolutely removed all the classic lines of the truck. I like some of Kindig's work but definitely not this one.

Doesn't look chopped up to me Vern and doesn't look like Kindig's work. Maybe you're thinking of the other thread..

John, you are absolutely right. I meant to post this on the thread you referred to about the 51 truck that Kindig did. Sorry.

Perhaps, but it's still another trailer trash, lipstick on a pig "restoration" that someone thinks is worth more than it is, and he turned down over 20 large for it.

He turned down over 20 for it ? The price on mine just went up if he did. I would have cleaned up the engine bay. That roll pan needs to be took off too.

I agree about the roll pan, looks like a slap on piece..... along with the exhaust pipes too. Also not a big fan of white wall tires on F1 trucks either IMO.

I can't criticize since I don't have anything that shinny. But the under shot from the rear end looking forward, is that some kind of optical illusion? Left front tire looks like it's going to fall off.
