The team behind the show Bitchin' Rides gets their hands dirty on an old F1.

I just watched the first of the 2 shows.......a lot of custom body work being done.......I'm impressed at the work these guys do. I would love to know what the clients spend on these builds.

I have been told that $250,000 will get you in the door...no guarantees on how much it will cost you to leave. Kinda like Hotel California.

$250,000 minimum is in line with what I was thinking. That probably applies to most high end restoration shops. Yes, they have some talented sheet metal people. But don't kid yourself, the other half of the equation is the money needed for the new crate motors, trans, and chassis. Not to mention for the equipment and tools to make the work easier. I'm often amazed on these shows, when a motor won't start or has an issue, or their are electrical issues, the guessing and parts changing begins and they don't seem to have any diagnostic knowledge or skills.

No telling what was in that engine. The 8 stack alone was probably several grand. The engine was the coolest part to me. I wish they had driven it like they do most of their builds.

I thought the Add-on rockers were a great touch. I also wish stretching the cab was within my skill set.

Used to call on them at the last company I worked for. The shop's pretty amazing, as is the talent there. And they have the state-of-the-art tools to make things happen.
About all I could afford there were two t-shirts, which I bought.

I've watched about all the hot rod shows. Foose, Coddington, on and on. I like many of their builds but, not all of them. I haven't seen ANYTHING Dave built that I didn't like.
