Tire size help

Howdy all. So wasn't sure where to ask, and cant find what I am looking for online so figured you pre 1947 guys would have this knowledge. I have some old rims, and tires from an unknown year old ford truck that I want to refurbish, and mount new rubber on for a project. Only problem is I cant figure this tire size. It only says 11-15LT but cant find what the modern equivalent would be. Any ideas?

You could measure the tread tire width and tire diameter etc. to see what size it is.

I spent a fair amount of time last night searching for that tire size in old Tire and Rim Association manuals. It is either a trailer or implement tire and wheel. The tire needs an 8.5” wide rim which, IMHO, is a stretch on a 1940s truck. Stu

My records show a 31 x 11.50 x 15 tire would be the closest to a modern equivalent.
