What does your manual say? Typically the only break in advice you will see it to wait either 500 or 1000 miles before towing. Some do that, and some don't.........your truck, your call. Your manual will tell you what the recommendation is though.
Have your dealer run your VIN and make sure that you are not part of the 7.3 engine recall (trucks built from 12/5 to 2/3).
It’s not a recall. Dealers are only told to check, not sell or release 7.3 trucks that may fall into the effected time frame. At this time FORD will not be notifying owners of the potential time bomb under the hood.
