Does anyone know an exact match for the silver / gray paint used on the dash and trim pieces? I need to repair some scratches. 2017 F-250 Lariat with black with black leather.
I’d like to know also. Wish they didn’t paint them and used plastic that was actually this color. Way too easy to scratch and when it does it’s really noticeable.
I agree, that silver paint scratches very easily. I was hoping someone had found a good rattle can match for it.
I found this link. You can choose the year of your vehicle. There is a legend at the bottom of the page. The legend seems to point to "1T3A Medium Light Stone" which shows to be used on "Most makes and models". The other choice would be "DY5 Medium Earth Grey" and shows it is used on F-150, F-250, and F-Series Lariat. However - it looks like it may be closer to 9PCC Obsidian Silver Met Mat...however that shows to be used only on the F-150.
I have played the "can you match it" game before at the Auto Parts store years ago with another vehicle. I wound up buying 5 or 6 different colors before finding one that kinda, sorta matched.

you may be onto something. I agree it looks more like the obsidian color based on that link, however aren’t f150’s basically the same as a superduty inside except for some have center console shifters and they don’t have the “super duty” 2nd glove box.
Pick your own color. Buff or sand it out to remove the uneven scratches and paint the whole thing.
Definitely a drag that it scratches so easily right there where things can easily scratch it.
Per another thread I’m fairly certain the color is obsidian metallic, at least the for replacement vent bezels show this color.
per my research this shows code 9PCC as obsidian metallic. Amazon shows a couple touch up paints in this color. Gonna order one and see.
Any luck finding a winner with this interior color? Amazon has an offering from Harpy Motors, paint code 9PCC Obsidian Silver Metallic. Wondering if its a match.
I would say it is not a PERFECT match, but it is very close, and I am satisfied with the final results. In real life, it appears just a tiny bit darker than the Ford original, and the finish is maybe slightly different. I do think the paint is probably meant to be an exterior base coat paint, but I think it will work fine. In the pictures below is the OEM vent bezel next to the new painted gauge pod bezel. The new pod bezel came painted, but was not, in my opinion, a close enough match, and had a few spots that I wanted to sand down and clean up just a little. Overall I'm very happy with it and know its going to look nice in the truck.
Thanks for sharing 4seams!
It looks pretty dang good to me! Appreciate the links, they will be helpful, as I was looking to touch up the rear of the console in the back seat in the spring...
