I have a 2020 F250 4x2 CCLB 7.3 w 3.55 I received 1-4-20 Today I had to make a 45 mile round trip or 90 miles total About 50 of the 90 were Interstate and 35 of the 90 were secondary roads 5 miles were City Streets Average for trip was 15.7 mpg No load in truck, just me and my toolbox. Terrain slightly hilly, rolling

Hey you all thanks for the updates. I ordered a new truck last week. Was told no idea when i'd get it but wanted to be in line. Saving $ by the month and driving my wifes car, all good. Reall wanted to have it for hunting season but all my hunting buddies have trucks so its the least of my problems. We are so lucky here in northern bc. I can wait till it gets here. I want all the plant employees to be safe, dont woory about getting a truck to me.
the article is pretty spot on to my mileage I get around 14 in town mellow driving and a little better with eco towing a 11000lb 5th wheel to the campground I get around 6-7mpg at 75-80 mph get around 8-9 on way home at 65mph the better the fuel mileage I get the more I have to spend on beer! :-)
I have a 7.3 Tremor. Around town I am getting 12.5. I took a 800 mile trip and hand calculated close to 14 running 75 on highway. Push it up to 80-83 it dropped to 13.5. I was running ECCO mode. I was pleased based on the lift and tires.

My 4.30 geared 6.2 running 295/70/18 light weight Michelin's on the freeway at 72 would barely eek out 14. I look forward to comparing that to my 7.3 coming in anyday to my dealer.
I calculated my first tank this weekend and it came in right at 14.5. This tank was over 300 miles, included going up and over Santiam Pass to central oregon where I went from 300', up to 4800' and ended at 3000' in elevation gain. Before driving around in town when I arrived by mpg readout was at 15.2. The same 120 mile drive home read out 18.2. I've made this drive so many times for work and the 3 mpg is pretty standard for each direction travel. My previous 2014 6.7 powerstroke calc'd 16.5 on this exact drive. My last 2 6.2s would have been maybe a touch over 12. These are the numbers when I fill up in central oregon which includes the uphill drive from my home. I can't be more pleased with my 7.3 so far. 120 mile door to door gaining 2700' 120 mile door to door losing 2700'

That's great gas mileage on your trip. I'm confused by the elevation gain. Santiam Pass is at 4,817 feet elevation.
