Well well have to agree to disagree Just did it on us and cdn site. Both allowed tremor w 7.3 and 3.55 remained. Look at order guide. 3.55 is std rear ratio w 7.3 in F250.
The Tremor package comes standard with a 3.55 rear axle ratio with an electronic rear locker, while the 4.30 rear axle ratio is available as a no-cost option.

Cool story. Don’t have any interest in arguing with you on it.

Powerkid is right. For a F250 the 3.55 is standard with the 7.3 and the Tremor package. IF your talking about a 350 then you are right. But if you read his post completely it said 250.
Figured I would throw out what I have seen thus far for my first post.
F-250 Lariat 4x4 - Ultimate Package
7.3 with 3.55 rear end
City in the 13’s and Hwy hovers from upper 14’s to low 15’s on average
High was 16.2 in eco mode running flat highway around 70 mph and passing through one major city without traffic but speeds closer to 60 (hand calculated approx. 250 miles)
Haven’t towed anything over an extended distance, so can’t help there.

Avg. 14.2 with 1580 miles (computer)
very pleased with the truck
Thanks. That is good info. I know it’s early in the game and not much data available. I was very curious how the various drive modes (eco) will effect mpg.
Thanks!
I have a 2020 F250 4x2 CCLB 7.3 w 3.55 I received 1-4-20 Today I had to make a 45 mile round trip or 90 miles total About 50 of the 90 were Interstate and 35 of the 90 were secondary roads 5 miles were City Streets Average for trip was 15.7 mpg No load in truck, just me and my toolbox. Terrain slightly hilly, rolling
Average just around town stop & go 13.5 +/- I’m very satisfied
Ok thanks for the update. Just returned to Canada from Belize for several weeks. Glad to be home. I left the build sheet with my guy at Ford here in Prince George. Will see him this week. Alot has changed in the last month. Interest rates are falling, the economy is having a brief ****, hell I dont even know if the Ford plants are running. I feel like this next month will be a great time to order a new truck
it seems like a drastic difference. Maybe the 10-speed trans will make up for the difference in axle gearing.
With so many gears, I don't think it matters much other than getting a load started. All your changing with the different rear end gears is if your towing in 7/8 or 6/7th gears. With that many choices, the truck will just pick whatever gear keeps the engine in it's power band which means it will just be a gear or two lower with 3:55's. End result is the same mileage and same result except the 3:55's won't feel as good getting off the line.
