cold temp high idle

cold temp high idle
I had a 7.3 up until last october when I upgraded to a 2019 6.7. So when temp were cold cold ( like last night here in ny it was 4 degrees) my 7.3 would high idle like its supposed to do and when i stepped on the brake pedal it went back to idle and off i went. On my 6.7 the high idle seems to stay on and when you shift to drive it has quite a lurch. Is this normal? I was ecpecting the same brake pedal to deactivate the high idle. thanks Jeff

Same with mine, as the other day it was -19 C here and mine was idling at around 1100 rpm and this dropped as soon as I stepped on the brake to engage the transmission in drive. Sounds like your truck has an issue.
