2006 power stroke dome light issues?

2006 power stroke dome light issues?
Help please! First time posting. So I think I have 2 issues. Dome light comes on when it wants. Driving or in the driveway. No door ajar light ever. Have already lubed the door switches numerous times with wd and PB blaster. Just changed the ignition lock cylinder and duct taped the door chime tab. So no door chime when door is opened with keys in or out. However when the truck goes into the dome light craze if you open the drivers door it chimes as if the key is in the ignition? How is that possible? Hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks

No the radio is fine. I started smacking the dash right above and to the right of the speedo tonight and got the inside lights to come on as well as the door chime. Hit it again and the lights would go out. So I'm suspecting something under the dash. Cluster or a shorted wire. I'll update when I figure it out. Thanks

I called them when I had my problems, they said not to send my cluster, that the problem was elsewhere. Seem like decent folks

You can pull the cluster apart and re-flow the solder on the connector -- that is the common problem
