Lights/radio problem

Dome light and bed turn on and off randomly when truck is off. No problems when running. Radio and clock randomly on/ off while truck is off. Drained my batteries. No issues while running. Likley culprit? Ignition switch maybe? Ignition lock cylinder? Instrument cluster? 2005 f350 6.0. XL package. No PATS or keyless entry or remote anything

sounds like classic Power Saver Relay issues. It is located in the instrument cluster. Give Circuit Board Medic a call and the y should be able to help you.

I did call them. He said it did not sound like the cluster. My lights and radio work fine when truck is running. He said I would lose them when truck is on if the gremlins were in the cluster. 🤔

Try swapping the 1” square 30amp “power off delay relay” in the main fuse/relay panel with another relay.

Purchased new relay at NAPA. Put #35 fuse back in. It worked fine as designed. Watched TV for 2 hrs with the blinds open, didn't see the dome/ cargo lights come on. Fingers crossed
