Our 2020 F250 bed has the LED light and switch locations covered. Does Ford have a kit to add the lights and switch? Has anyone done this addition previously?
Thanks to all replies.

Take a look under the bed, up into the area where you see the light and switch covers. You just might see a harness there for the optional light/switch. If so, you can buy OEM stuff for it. I like Fairway Ford for online OEM parts.
Here's an eBay option: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-NEW-Tru...-/191558948457
Unless Ford changed the harnesses on the 2020 model to include the plugs for bed lights, they will not be there. On my 2017 XLT Premium I had to find a similarly equipped truck with the bed light option , get the vin number, and get the rear wiring harness for the taillights that includes the plugs. Then it was a simple swap.

No kit I'm aware of but several of us have added them. It does take FORScan to enable it to work in OEM fashion. See these posts.
Hello, These parts show that they are not compatible with a 2019 F250. Is you experience different? I cannot get the dealer to help at all. Thank you so much, Jamison

No one I've talked to at Ford knows about a retrofit kit for the Super Duty, although there is a kit for the F-150. For my 2020 F-350 there were 5 parts required:
The third part (LC3Z-13A409-L) is the main tail light wiring harness which replaced my factory harness (LC3Z-13A409-K). The difference is the addition of a socket on each side to accommodate the last two wire assemblies above, which go to the two LED lights and switch. There are about 15 versions of this main tail light wiring harness, depending on truck options. The variations appear to be SRW vs. DRW, BLIS or not, LED tail lights or not, Lighting Package A or not, etc. It took quite an effort to determine which variation I needed. Mine is an XL/STX SuperCab with 8' bed, SRW, no BLIS, no LEDs. For this retrofit, the Lighting Package A is needed. Read the LC3Z-13A409-x descriptions carefully to determine the correct suffix letter for your truck configuration. You can find the part number of the original factory-installed harness on a label about 2' from the passenger side bed wall, underneath where the spare tire mounts.
The second difficulty is removing the old tail light wiring harness due to the tenacity of the plug in cable anchors. Once the harness is removed, the installation of the retrofit parts is quite straight forward. Removing the spare tire greatly helps.
These same parts apply to the F-250 and F-450 as long as the correct version of the main tail light wiring harness is determined. Fairfield Ford in Ohio has an excellent online parts service at about 30% less cost than the main Ford parts depot and no state sales tax outside of OH. Parts are shipped in one day unless they need to procure one and that takes 2 days. Normal shipping takes 3-4 days cross country and reasonable cost.
The main Ford depot ships Overnight or 2-day FedEx from their dealerships and facilities across the US for free if you register on their site. For example, my three cables came from TN, MI and CA to my location in northern CA in 16 hours! Ordered late Monday afternoon CA time, arrived mid-morning Tuesday. OTOH, they charge MSRP and state sales tax as if purchased from your local dealership even when shipped from another state because Ford has a presence in all states. Returns are done through the local dealer.
