Slow Transfer Switch

I think I can call the initial part of this experiment over. With daytime temperatures in the 70's, my transfer switch or generator is making power available within 30 seconds. I still need to figure out where the holdup is. Is it the transfer switch or the generator itself? Maybe I don't care. As long as I know what to expect in colder weather, it's not a big deal.
