On my 1955 f100 the inside door handle post just spins. I can’t open the door from the inside. I saw a post that there is a replacement post that can be installed. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Did I miss something?

 

I think the window regulator is bad. The stud that holds the handle just spins. The handle will not open the door from the inside. I was thinking if the stud could be replaced. But form what I have read its easier to replace the entire uni.
