Alternator question
My pigtail on the alternator is hanging on by a thread. I found a Motorcraft pigtail but it comes with three wires. I was just curious why this one has a place for three wires but only utilizes two. I do have a dual alternator setup I don't know if that makes a difference or not

Definitely need new wires there. I'd grab the 3 wire pigtail and cut off the middle wire.
Many times I don't understand the why of things, but if I just replicate what was there it works fine.
They hired me for my looks.
