You need to check the IDM connector with the chart Knotty posted. Sounds like you have a short somewhere. Sounds like the IDM see the problem and has shut down a bank of injectors. I would guess a new valve cover gasket and UVCH is in your future. Mine just did the same exact thing just before Christmas. It sounded exactly like yours does now

Yes I’m going to ohm out the pins on the IDM next. I checked the connectors at the valve covers yesterday nothing seemed out of sorts. Supposed to get bad weather here so may not get to it for a few days.
