Left back dead. More to it. Not valve cover harness

Hey guys, got an intermiten issue on our work truck. Drivers side bank keeps cutting out. I already replaced both sides valve cover harness's. And have double and triple checked all wires are correct. Before i put the valve cover on, i made sure each injector was getting power. Then put it all back together, still left back is out. Pulled the plug that goes into valve cover gasket, only getting power out of one of the center pins, enough to shock the **** outa me and blow up my test light. And this seems to be an intermiten issue, so my question is, does anyone know what wires do what in the harness going into the valve cover? I know the 2 outsides the thick wires are glow plugs. What other wires, are soposed to be getting what? How many volts, constant, non constant? And any ideas on what could be killing it all out?

Also, my code reader is saying no codes found, but the engine light is on. Going to check cig fuse tomorrow, and pin 16 in connector.

Many of the cheaper OBD scanners will not pull powertrain codes on the 7.3 what are you using to pull the codes?

The center pin is a common injector power, then the next 2 out from the center on both sides are the individual injector grounds, then the 2 outermost on both sides are individual GP's power.

Passenger's side harness on top, Driver's side on bottom.

As for your issue, you might have an individual injector solenoid that is taking out the whole bank, you also might want to check for chaffed wires around where the 42 pin connector wiring goes over the valve cover. Also inspect your valve cover gasket itself for melted connectors possibly causing the issue. Voltage to the injectors is around 100V IIRC.

Check the main wiring harness where it drapes across the valve cover. Looking for chafing and bared wires.....you may have to get inside the plastic loom as well.
