I am redoing the interior on my 73 f250 and am curious about the color of the steering column. Were they color matched from the factory with the dash, cab, body or were they all black? Thanks
The earlier trucks (73-77) have the little metal cover that covers the column where it meets the dash and it's painted to match the dash. The later trucks (78/79) have a larger, plastic cover instead of that metal one and it's been black every time I've seen one.
