Remote start question
First I apologize if this has been answered before but my searches have not turned up a definitive answer. My neighbor purchased a 2019 F250 Super Duty 6.2 V8 without many options, it has the 4" center screen. I was telling him about how I used Forscan to enable remote start in my 2014 Explorer so he was curious if I could do the same for his truck. All the Explorer XLT's 2011-2015 came from the factory with remote start capability built in so all I had to do was buy the key's, get them cut and program them to the car, then enable the remote start using Forscan. Do the F250's already have everything needed to do this as well or are there parts that need to be purchased (other than the key fob) to add remote start to his truck? I know with some Explorer's a hood switch needed to be purchased and installed.
