rebuilding a wreck
Hello, I am wanting to buy a 2001 F-150 that has been wrecked or been in a fire. I have not been able to find any and wondered if any one knows of a junkyard that has one. I would like to find a Supercrew or supercab. Also has anyone ever put a 6.8 V-10 in a 2001 F-150 any thoughts or suggestions

Do a search on the V10 swap. Not been done that I know, but there was a discussion about it.
About the only way to find a wrecked f150 that new and totalled is if its been rolled over, or burned to where i doubt it could be fixed.

fire damage in the newer ones usually ruins the metal and renders it too soft to sustain any shape or strength.
As for rollovers check with junkyards. They sometimes have what is called a hot list??? that you can send out requests on and get replies.
