trouble with 01 f150 no fuel pressure. PLEASE HELP...

I bought a 2001 f150 that has been wrecked, air bags deployed. i checked fuel pump relay, also checked all fuses. reset fuel cuttoff switch under passenger side kick panel. truck cranks over, and when i spray a little fuel in intake truck will start. checked for fuel pressure at shrader valve on fuel rail and no pressure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. im new to FTE really like all the good info i have read on here..

Welcome to the forum.

You may just have a bad pump. Where was the truck damaged? Perhaps a bad ground or cut harness?

If you had no power at the inertia switch, you need to be troubleshooting the power feed for the fuel pump circuit. Fuse F10 under the hood plus the Fuel Pump Relay.

Keep in mind that that, at initial start-up, the fuel pump is only supposed to be energized for 1-2 seconds to pressurize the fuel rail, so it is completely normal to measure no voltage at the inertia switch after this interval and before the engine runs.
