Out of adjustment? Check for abnormal bends in rods and bracket. Loosen bolts on end of rod and see if you can manually put it in park. If so, readjust to match the new position.
When I was under the truck and manually shifted it, it still wouldn’t go into park, all of the other gears fine shifting through, but won’t go back into park.
If you disconnect the shift rod from the transmission lever and it still does not go into park then the pan has to come off to see what is causing the problem. If it does go into park then the problem could be the body mounts are collapsed or the shift tube and or shift socket is the cause.
If the neutral switch is on the shift/ steering column the tube is on the inside and that is causing the problem then you need a new tube. Try to post a picture.
Is the shift tube and socket located on the neutral safety switch?
The shift tube is in the steering column and has the lever at bottom that the shift rod connects to ,,if the cab mounts have let the cab drop it could bind the movement of the shift rod ,, so if you disconnect it at the tranny and then see if it will shift into park , if it doesn't then you drop pan

-Would it shift through the other gears perfectly if it was the cab mount problem?

Unsure but anything is possible , but by unhooking linkage at the tranny end is the only way to know for sure , as this takes the shift tube out of the equation , if it doesn't shift into park then its in the transmission side , if it does shift into park then its somewhere in the column side, or the linkage itself has gotten out of adjustment as most are adjustable
