Well, when I signed up, all the screen names I wanted were taken, so I decided to go real old school.
I am a surveyor, so back in the days when distances were measured by a steel tape from a point underneath the instrument you had to be sure that the tripod legs would not be in the way of the tape.
If you were the instrument man and set the tripod up in the way of getting the measurement it was called a beer leg.
Well that was the fine amount, you had to buy the beer.
But those were back in my gypsy party chief days, before I started telling bulldozers where to go.
I'm in the FL panhandle, not far from AL, and GA. So just a little closer to the oysters in the gulf.
I've enjoyed my wanderings in AL, from the Ft Rucker to the Barber Motorsports museum, and a simple lunch trip in Andalusia.

Well I do like beer, so the handle is tolerable, lol. On the bike vest the patch said mapper above the one that said road captain, but that has been a decade ago. I need to get the bikes up and running again. I miss them.
They are just simple Yamaha, a v star 1100 for the bride, and a royal star for mine.
Now I used to have Fords decades ago, a '79 f 150 4x4, and a pair of ranger extended cabs, a' 86' 2wd and a 88'4wd,
The 88 i ended up putting axles from a old bronco under it.
Fast forward decades and in Sept or October I got a '19 lariat ccsb 6.7 350.
Im still making modifications for deployment.
A wee bit more light and some power connectors fore and aft, should go nicely with the other bits I have done.
Front hitch, nav tv, caméra in bed, front hitch.
