Howdy Fellas,
I purchased my new 2019 F150 in September. Last week I called my dealer regarding the installation of a Ford OEM trailer brake controller. My selling dealer told me they do not perform that type of work and gave me a local place for installation.
Really?
I called a different Ford dealer and they installed the Ford OEM dash integrated trailer brake brake controller within a week! All appears to be functioning as designed.

All dealers are are not created equal!
Agree on all not being equal. My dealer installed one on my 09 f150 no issues.
Sounds very reasonable. Was the wiring already installed at the factory?
Thanks
Yes, it was pretty much ‘plug and play’. Meaning, it was already pre wired. The dealer had to disassemble the dash, install (plug in) the integrated brake controller, re assemble the dash and update the software. I’m very pleased with the results and price.
My truck already had the 7 pin connector and the class IV hitch. It does not have a tow package, such transmission cooler or extra radiator cooler.
The transmission cooler is the same on all the trucks regardless of towing package. It's a single package cooler below the transmission bellhousing. They did away with the front mount cooler after Job 1 in 2017 for the 10r80 transmission. Only the Raptor kept the front cooler.

Thanks ford390gashog,
I didn’t know that about the transmission.
