TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER
I am just ready to pick up my new 2011 F-150 FX4. it has trailerpackage but no brake controller . Is this something that can be installed after the fact? In other words can I order the Ford brake controller and just install it myself?

They're not that difficult to install. Since you have the trailer tow package the wiring harness should be behind the small panel where the TBC goes.
You will need to to take it to the dealer and have them update your the trucks software to add the TBC programming.
