Drilling holes

On my 1955 ford f100 the wooden bed closest to the sides of the bed need drilling. The bolt holes on the metal bed use castle bolts. Anyone have suggestions on how to do this? I have all the wood and slats installed.
thanks

I marked mine then drilled them out on a drill press , using a brad point or forstner bit...

I assume you meant carriage bolts? For a "lumpless" finish you can also use elevator bolts.
