Recomendations for a Stock 351M Rebuild

I am looking to rebuild my M soon and want to start to figure out what kind of parts I will be using. The truck it is in is being driven to car shows, meets, and the occasional road trip. So definitely not a high power application. I am looking to keep this build cheap, and relatively stock. I have been looking at the Enginetech cams and lifters that are being sold on rock auto, don't know if they are good though. Input on that matter would be appreciated.
Also If you have an experience regarding good and cheap parts for an M engine rebuild, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

Multiple people have told me to drop a 400 crank in it or just scrapt the M because it is garbage, but this truck is supposed to stay close to original, so not an option. Not looking for power, just drivability, and longevity.

Thank You

If you have nothing against it - make it a 400. No one can tell the difference from outside anyway. How cheap do you want to go? Hone the cylinders for new rings, new bearings, and a Comp Cams 255DEH kit, would be a respectable overhaul.
