I am running on a 56K dialup from out in the sticks and I am having zero problems. Not as fast as my normal cable connection tho but surprisingly it isn't to bad. My cable connection must be slow or FTE servers are limiting me.

To check the speed your modem is receiving, R/click the "connected " icon and L/C status.. It's not your modem , I only get 26.4 on the Third World phone system we have here in Mesa . Vanhecht has the solution. You have your cookies restricted and your computer won't let RTE place one on so it can remember your registration. I had the exact same problem and FTE told me what was wrong.. Try this..C/tools, C/internet options, C/Privacy... Set the cookie slider to medium, C/OK...
