updated sync to 2020 software

Not a fan of these colors either. The stock blue in my 17' is just awful. I prefer the Lincoln theme with my tan interior. Can't believe that in 2019 we are still stuck with unchangeable colors and persistent bugs for years

So I have found some broken features after upgrading today, neither one I'm crazy about.
1. No longer can you browse your USB folders in their entirety unless stopped.
2. Voice command operations are terrible now. So far in 10 minutes trying, it hasn't recognized a single command yet. I used to say, "Play Zac Brown Band." And it would play. All I get now is, "I didn't get that..."
I like the updated maps, but so far, I've gone backwards in capability. Wish I had my functionality back.

Ok went out and played with my truck for a quick min and not being able to play an artist, I came back in and looked up the voice commands for music. your specific issues seem to be related to USB music playing. All voice commands I tested worked fine for me. I do not have a USB drive full of music laying around to test your specific issue. I will look into the travel link issue when I drive my truck tomorrow. did you do the master reset after loading the software? ive actually had 0 issues with the features I use, and they respond faster than v3.0 did.

ive been digging into this and have had no luck, I can turn on the ambient lighting option, but it gives the multi color lights and you cant adjust the brightness. I don't have UCDS but I wonder if the firmware update would enable this. I pulled the asbuilt data from a 2020 using a vin I found online I copied every single line to my truck and it turned on the multi color ambient lighting instead of the birhgtness like we are looking for. I keep an eye on Livinitup spreadsheet hoping it will appear on there but it hasn't yet.

I read thru this entire thread, iam not a tech or computer guy, but with some of the things people are saying and how they see a brief flash of the Lincoln logo, something isnt right, I cant believe you guys would run the risk of bricking the system like the OP mentioned

I personally went back to 3.3 today, I like the black night mode more than the blue night mode. I will say that the 3.4 looks more crisp than 3.3 I am actually researching jail breaking the sync software as we speak. I enjoy messing with stuff. I had the Lincoln theme on there, it looks good But wanted true black. I’ll keep playing around

What is 3.3? I have never done any updates to Sync since purchasing my truck. I haven't noticed any of the glitches some have posted about, so I have just left it as is. I am open to changing the theme or interface, and had been thinking about doing this most recent version until some negatives were posted.
3.3 looks like 3.0 I’ve only noticed a few small changes in it vs 3.0, I get my contacts pictures on the screen now, and when I select nav, or phone, or settings or climate, the buttons change colors(settings is purple, phone is yellow, climate is blue etc) this might have been present in 3.0 but I really don’t remember seeing it. Other than that 3.3 isn’t much different than 3.0
