Another cummins excursion conversion.

Thank you for looking into that but a friend that owns a diesel shop had one he gave me, still hunting a connecting rod/ cap. I got a new crankshaft on order says it will be here on the 24th so i anticipate it being late and not seeing it till after the holiday. Thank you though.
Okay So the new bearings and crank are installed as well as the front timing cover rear main seal, camshaft, oil filter housing/oil cooler, water pump and KDP fix. The parts are all OEM cummins equipment. rings, bearings, gaskets, and pistons. I got a hold of a new rod but it will need a pin bearing pressed in as well because this one looks pretty worn. Unfortunately I cannot install pistons yet because my supplier sent me incorrect rod bearings so I need to get those sent back and replaced. The head is all stripped and clean but I lost a valve spring keeper and will have to order another one. I also still need new tips for my injectors but Those can be done after the motor is all assembled. My goal is to have a complete assembled motor in a few weeks and then go about dealing with turbo and injector rebuild later down the line. IF anybody is doing this build on a cummins I recommend permatex locktite your rear main 5/16 bolts so they don't come loose and you have an oil leak somewhere you cannot get to without pulling the transmission. I am using permatex ultra slick assembly lube and standard rotella 15w40 oil to lube everything upon install. also permatex RTV on paper gaskets.
