I'm back!

After missing my excursion, and a couple wild rides, we now have another excursion on the farm! She has a few quirks to work out, but nothing major and nothing I didnt have to do on the last excursion.

Well on further inspection, someone did headers on this excursion. Saves me a little money!

Does anyone know what this block off plate is for?

Kinda looks like where my EGR valve is. The long bolt in the front on the left looks exactly like the one on my EGR valve. I also don't see an EGR tube so it must be an EGR delete plate.

That's exactly what I thought but I didnt want to assume. Just need to replace the radiator and I'll be back in business. Runs smooth, but has an exhaust leak that sounds like it is from the manifold/header area. I'm hoping since it has headers that the studs were replaced with stainless, but ill see. I had to do it on the last one I had and it wasnt too bad of a job.

Started doing my revitalization for the Ex. New plugs, 2 new coils (misfire on 3 and 7) radiator, and front left wheel speed sensor.

Hope to have her back on the road soon, but with all my projects theres no telling! Still trying to finish the room for the baby that came 2 weeks ago!

Welcome back. Try Remflex if you need new manifold gaskets. My X has the same plate as yours. I think it's stock. Not all X's had EGR.

Thanks! I didnt do much the other day. Too hot. It was over 100 outside, and the airflow in the shop isnt great so it was hotter in there. I disconnected the drivers side coils and pulled one bolt and I called it quits lol.

The good news through all of this is that now my wife has fallen in love with the excursion and we plan on getting 2 diesel ones now.

That's cool. I'd like to do that. Put a plow on mine and run hers in the summer.
