I really like the looks of the new F150 (Atlas). It's the best looking front end that I've seen on a truck and it just screams "FORD".
If I had unlimited time and resources, that would be my next project.... Update the looks of the Excursion with the front clip of the Atlas. (Of course, the obstacles are too numerous to mention. Sigh.....)
So, this is more my goal than a what if, I LOVE the look of these armored Ex's by Wamar...
While I will never have the half door version, or the armor, I love the overall stance and presence of these custom Ex's, and this look is the best embodiment of how I want mine to look some day.

I think if someone could come up with a kit that matches the lines of the Excursion but have the front of the new F-150 would be awesome. Maybe USCG PA could do a photoshop?
YUP! anyone have an idea of where the vented hood came from or the mod ?

I've always wanted to swap out the barn doors for a tailgate. However the amount of metal work to the tailgate so it'd work with the hatch, not to mention the ridiculous amount of detail work like getting the latch system correct with seals to keep the interior sealed, as well as everything from rattling while also looking good (interior trimming the tailgate as well) is just too much.
