My 2019 F250 XLT did not have the Ford OEM bed lights in the bed. Just the plastic caps covering the two light holes and the cap covering where the in-bed switch is. I have picked up the two lights and the switch.
Question goes to wiring: did Ford run anything back there, or am I on my own and running wires up front to my Upfitters?
There was a least one thread on guys doing this mod in the past, I know it took a few Forscan changes but it can work like factory is you would like, try searching...
Some have reported that their harness is set up for lights, but most are not. A quick flashlight shine of the harness from below will tell you what you have. Mine was a >1hr. job replacing the harness and popping in the lights (went with Recon) and the switch. It also gave me a chance to dielectric grease all of the connectors. I still need to FORSCAN it so the truck knows it has lights now, but I know they work because they turn on/off with the courtesy lights.

Thanks in advance
I think I read a post where it's 6 volts to the bed LED lights, so if you do run your own wire make sure you send the correct voltage for your bulbs.
I purchased an LED dome light from Amazon - 12 volt. Mounted it to one of the bed plugs where the factory light(s) are installed. If you have this harness - located at the left rear, (back up lights, tail lights, ground etc located in the 6 wire, blue plugs) install is a no brainer, my bed light comes on with parking / tail lights.
Thanks for posting this picture, I had seen these plugs on my 2019 F350 XLT SCSB and was curious as to what they 'could' be used for. So from your description, the one on the left (Blue filler plugs) is for back up lights, tail lights, etc..., what is the plug on the right with the lite Green filler plugs for?
Also, and sorry if this is a redundant question as I've seen comments in other threads, but are these the connectors that everyone mentions to put the dielectric grease on to help with weather protection?
I ordered these and mounted them under the rails and ran them to my upfitter switches. Works like a gem and they are super bright. I purchased them off of eBay for $50.
