yes but I would return the distributor if you got it locally and it is under warranty
So I just found the receipt for the distributor and it's a carquest replacement. Not a Cardone as I thought. The computer is definitely a Cardone though.
Hopefully you bought it locally and can get a quick exchange to at least verify yours is bad. A NEW Cardone from rock auto is 61.00 for reference. Sandy

I usually shop at rockauto but I bought this at advance. So I'll pull it and go get it exchanged. I'm tempted to just get a refund and then order a new one from rockauto so I can get a Cardone.
Advance sells Cardone distributors. A new one is about 99.00. They should let you upgrade if you paid less for the carquest or swap even if prices are about the same. Sandy
I am not going to pay the Motorcraft price on high dollar warrantied parts that have a good warranty. Not saying the Cardone is good and folks have had good and bad experiences with almost all brands. Their PCM's have worked well for me is all I know. Advance also sell Spectra and their fuel pumps have all worked for me but no experience with their distributors. If you bought a new PCM from a Ford dealer it would be a Cardone brand.
