Can anyone give me the Ford replacement part number for the Flasher/Blinker plug in? I have changed all exterior bulbs on my 2018 F250 Super Duty XLT to LED's, and have added resistors where necessary. All working fine, but just thought I'd pick up an LED blinker switch too... Can't find the appropriate part number, even FORD Reps give me wrong info.. Reading about others who have been making LED changes as well, so hoping someone can HELP??? Much THANKS! PS: This is my first post here, apologize if not posting in correct forum. Regards!
Not sure that there is such a thing, I'm pretty sure all lighting is controlled via the BCM, including blinkers, so there isn't so much of a "switch" or "relay" anymore. If everything is working fine, leave it as is. If you are getting the hyperflash on the dash board, then you will need either FORScan to disable or ask the dealer to do it.
My dash will hyperflash on engaging the turn signals, but the exterior lights flash normally. As mentioned the old days of a new flasher unit for a few bucks are over.
I just left it as is, as it doesn't bother me. YMMV.
Have to make the changes in FORScan... and FWIW the Hyper flash is only interior, the bulbs should flash at a normal rate on the exterior regardless of bulbs used.
Thanks everyone for the replies!! I will leave well enough alone! No wonder I was having trouble locating. All lights work fine with the resistors, no hyperflash. I'm sure I can find something else to mess with my mind!
