programing second key

Bought my 2016 F250 used and it only came with one key. I want to add a Ford remote start and will come with a key that will need to be programmed to the truck. Can I do that in FORSCAN or will I be forced to go to the dealer?

If I can do it in FORSCAN are there directions anywhere on what and where I need to do?

I don't use ForScan so I cannot answer that part, but I do know you can go to a locksmith and have the programming done for a lot less than at a dealer.

yes you can program keys with forscan, but you need the advanced license key to do it.
