In bed spare
Did Ford still offer "in bed", spare tire holder for '87-96'? If not, when did they cease. I know I had one in a '79.

They did and the parts are still floating around if you are wanting a factory set up.

I think that is how I will go. Too harsh a world for a spare under the truck up here in the rust belt.

I saved a Bronco inside spare tire carrier to mount in my F150 bed, haven't gotten around to it yet but at the time it looked like it would fit.

They must have had a couple different in bed options, mine has a spot right behind the driver to mount a spare. I'd use it if I didn't have a tool box there.

Mine is not factory, I used an in-bed carrier from a '69 Ranger on it, but I did put it in the same spot it was in with the Ranger.

I ended up putting the mount from the '79 on the passenger side of my '93. I am always putting stuff in and out of the box behind the drivers side. So why not put it where it is more convenient for you.

By the way, R&R, you setup looks great!
