Got an 86’ f-350 that had factory air and was taken off 10 years ago. I recently hung all brackets back on, ordered a new compressor and am in the process of putting everything else “necessary” back on. Accumulator, condenser, etc. the only thing I’m having a hard time finding is the actual lines/hoses connecting all the above parts. I have seen a couple, but im not sure what each line is called, if they’re pretty much generic and order to length or what. Any ideas?
The line from the compressor to the condenser is called the discharge line, the line from the condenser to the evaporator is the liquid line, the line from the evaporator to the compressor is the suction line.
I read thru some of the OP's back posts, it's a 1986 F350 460 4WD
TWOdifferent types of factory installed integral A/C systems. Note how the hoses connect to the compressor:
I'll list the sources for NOS once I know what type of A/C system the OP's truck has.

I’m kinda not sure of anything at this point, it had it originally, not even sure if it was factory or dealer installed, and have the brackets still. Everything else is gone, minus the factory controls. I ordered the the compatible components off rockauto and I’m hoping to piece it all together.
I called them instead of searching the website. I tried to gain some insight on where I could find them. But the gentleman said he had nothing available for that engine, that year. I’ll try to search the website or use the part numbers to google them. But how am I to know which lines I need?

One type of hoses connect directly to the compressor, the other type connect to service valves located on the compressor.
Once you know the type, let me know and I'll search for them. I've done this every day for members since 11/4/2006.
There are several different types of compressors. Here's a pic of the York type, the service valves are shown as 19752 and 19A990
The hoses that connect directly to the compressor thread onto orifices, there are no valves.
