After seeing my compressor and how I have the manifold blocks, is that directly to the compressor or service valves?
I would not use r134a on a NOS hose. Most new hoses are r134a compatible hose, I would ask who you buy them from before spending any money. Old R12 hoses exposed for years to the r12 and the r12 oil will seal against the r134a. But a brand new never used NOS r12 hose is not going to be leak free to r134a.

Well shoot. Ok. Didn’t know there was that big of a difference in them. I’ve heard so many stories of just switching refrigerant and small things. I do have someone local that can make them, it’s just a matter of getting the day off and having to take the truck there.
