Just called a door hinge spring. Don't think they are reproduced. Numberdummy posted back in 2015 some companies with NOS.... I'd hit up a pick and pull or see if some fellow members have any extra laying around.
X2 on hit up a JY and get one, they are the same for 73-79 and possibly even left or right? I said POSSIBLY AS IN MAYBE as far as the L or R. You might even be able to use one off a pre 73 or even after 79? You know those little 2 tooth wheels like a little grease or oil every once in a while.
Thank you for the conformation. Was not positive and did not want to put out bad info. SO since the hinge is the same, the spring is too?
From a while back "Door hinges, you could look at the hinges on the driver side compare them to the passenger side. You will see that there is only two hinges and they are upside down on one side of the truck, Ford only made 2 hinges for the 4 locations, so take the hinge (or spring) you need from the opposite side off a truck in the wrecking yard, as the passenger sides get used way less.
So lower driver side hinge matches upper passenger side, they are the same part. And upper driver side hinge matches lower passenger side, they are the same part. They might be different part #’s, but they are interchangeable. The lower hinges contain the check strap, the upper hinges do not."
1973/79 F100/750 & 1978/79 Bronco: D3TZ-1022800-A.. Right & Left Upper Hinge / Obsolete D3TZ-1022810-A.. Right & Left Lower Hinge / Obsolete

Ford changed the hinges in 1980 and the check strap was available separately. Same as 1978/83 Fairmont/Zephyr. But 1973/79, you had the buy the entire hinge.
The 2 cuts that are open completely should hold it in place. Once you pop it out of the cuts (flat tip screwdriver) and spin it a bit, the broken piece should come right out. Install new/replacement, spin, tap, done. Beer.
