Good afternoon Gentleman. I have a question for the smarter than me men.
My trans temp runs about the same as my coolant temp, within a couple tenths. Is that normal or is there problems coming down the road. Operating temps are all good other than what I see as weird with trans temp.
I have torque Pro on a Tablet. I also have Forscan lite.
Dah. I should have checked that. Let me. check on the differences between the 2 apps..
I'll check back in on that.
What should your differences be between the ECT and Trans temp wormed up and at idle? I run about 192 at idle wormed up.
Is your trans temp high or is your coolant temp low? If trans and coolant are both around 190, something’s up with the trans. If they’re both around 160, then something’s up with the cooling system, prob stuck open thermostat.
Now with info, I'm definitely curious.
I'll get out the office and I'll compare readings and go from there. Fluids are all good and like I said Deltas other than that are great. Hoping bad readings. Thanks Syphlyn for the Baseline Temps.

It's the PID in Torque for trans temp. Go into Settings, then Manage Extra PIDs, then to Transmission Fluid Temperature (either method) and Edit it. Go down to OBD Header and change whatever is there (probably Auto) and change it to TCM. Save it and load that Trans Temp into your real time screens.
