Fuel pressure

I got an 03 this morning I started my truck to drive to Walmart and I noticed my fuel pressure was at almost 80psi it usually rides right on 60psi. now I know some Fluctuation is normal but I even looked twice to make sure I was looking at the right gauge. Now temps did get down into the low 50s last night when lately it averages around 90 and my dad believes due to that the fuel was thicker than usual causing the pressure to come up. he's probably right because by the time I made the 22 mile round trip to Walmart and back it was back down were it was supposed to be right at 60psi. I have the adjustable fuel pressure regulator from sinister with the blue spring. Should I turn the pressure down a few pounds for the colder season ahead? Also is there anything to be concerned with that much of a Fluctuation?
