7.3 where does this go?

Trying to reasemble after having the truck apart for years. Where does this wire go?

Not 100% certain, but AIH? The wires on your AIH don’t look like what I remember.

If that blue wire is coming off the GPR it is for the WTS light. Not sure exactly where it attaches, but it can't be far away.

There are several links in the Tech Folder at the top of the main 7.3L page.

One of which was this one...

Does your valley look like this? These wires were attached to the GPR and AIH relays. It looks like the wire you are holding could be one of those.

The picture is a bit confusing - I was using the AIH relay (in front) as my GPR, because the GPR relay (black body) had quit working. That wire in your hand could be the PCM sense wire that goes on top of the glow plug feed wires.

@2manytickets perhaps you missed the link to the Tech Folder I posted earlier. The wire you have in your hand in the pictures is also pictured in the link I posted.

To ease your clicking duties, I have pasted what you are looking for below.

There is a blue wire with a black sleeve a couple inches from the ring terminal on the screw stud labeled 4 which is also output to flow plugs in the description.

Do you see it now?

Yeah, that's hooked up already. Shoot, thought that might be it. Wish I had my truck here to trace that bad boy. That wire is coming out of a wire loom that feeds these two solenoids. What else is nearby? Could it be a ground?

Your right, I see it now.

Where does the loom go to? Does it go to the main harness or head somewhere else? You may need to trace it back to find the other end...

I think it goes on the AIH relay output, as the PCM sense wire, just like the one that goes on the GPR output terminal. How about that?
