Take the clutch cover off the front of the compressor and if the bearing is still okay you can run that way.
I believe the compressor is locked up because it just so happens that I did take the clutch off first and tried to start it with no luck. Then I ended up taking off the serpentine belt and it fired right up.
Huge relief knowing what was wrong Because I just bought the truck a few days ago in Tennessee and ended up stuck here in Maine because of this. Will be calling a shop in the morning to try to get it towed there and get it fixed. Hopefully it won’t cost too much.
I really appreciate everyone’s input because I don’t know if I would’ve ever ever figured it out on my own.
You can replace the clutch idler pulley and just not put the clutch disk back on and it will run.
The bearing is not a cheap one and it is less to just do the clutch.
