Oooh! I like that one!
I have two different versions of the old style with the aluminum hub and five "appendages" sticking out in a radial pattern. Found two different ones (one Green and one Red) and bought them both because each one had something I needed.
That bracelet or keychain style is perfect!
My "honey-do" list gets done pronto! Happy wife, happy life.....you know the deal. And that way I get more time to go get "shop" therapy with my Ford trucks and Bronco's. Yes she is calling and saying we are outa beer and the steaks are done. Peace out FOMOCOBRO.
So its either.....https://leadslingerswhiskey.com/ or the stuff below. FYI this has NOTHING to do with ignition issue, but at least I am honest about it. lol
Update! I got the wire out of the connector per your suggestions. I stripped the old wire down, attached the new connector to the old coil connector, and voila! She sarted right up. Now I have another one in transit, so that's a spare. Thanks to all for your help. I felt like a really did something there!
It's always amazing to me to think that all of the man hours that it took to originally assemble that truck can be done it with one small wire that took me less than 5 minutes to fix. The paradox if life....
Hey! Congrats! Yeah, it's the "little things" but then those are the weakest links too sometimes.
Now it's hopefully good for another 40 years.
Did you just crimp, or were you able to solder as well? Just wondering if it's not sealed with solder if there is anything else that can be done to keep the weather and under-hood conditions at bay for a longer time.
