90 bronco 351 , started it this morning and after about 5 seconds of running ok, it just died, then i tried to start it again and it just sits there and turns over, havent pulled check engine codes yet,, any ideas?
can you still hear your fuel pump turn on ? on my '90-5.8 i can hear my pump come on after i turn the key on. check the fusible link wires near your battery also . make sure not are melted.
I had a similar problem with my '87 F-150 300 a few weeks ago. Started fine one day, nothing the next. Got spark, fuel pump was pumping. Turned out, after trying a lot of other stuff, to be a broken wire at the fuel pump relay.
no, the ignition module is on side of distrib. w/ wires plugged into it. the coil is the thing the center spark plug wire (on distrib.) plugs into. the ignition module can be removed without removing the dist. if you get the special tool from auto parts store. (less than 10.00) you should check codes first.
