Brake Booster went out on my 1976 F-150 Ranger XLT 2-door. 360 4-speed. I'm looking for an after market booster since all the others I can find are re-manufactured. Any hellp would be great. Thanks.
I just did a conversion on my 79 F350 to a 2004 F250/350's dual diaphragm booster. Had to do a little tweaking and drill some new holes in the mounting brackets but it all works well.
I don't know of any aftermarket booster that will fit these trucks without more work than retrofitting a newer booster.
Newer boosters still use the same size hole for the brake pedle mount and still use the same master cylinder bolt spacing.
I couldn't find anything in the junk yards for my truck but maybe for an F150 you could have some luck.
Several companies also offer rebuild services if you send your booster in.
There is nothing wrong with reman boosters. I've used them for years and have yet to have a problem with one. and if I do they have a lifetime warranty.
Aftermarket is usually the cure for a problem that doesn't exist.

Could you do a write up on this? I'm curious if I could do this in my F150. Would I need an F350 master?
