Hello I just got my 1999 F350 V10 with 137000 miles on it. Just got the ignition coil and spark plug changed and my SES light is on after the repair. I turned it on off by unplugging the battery and drove it and it came on again. The truck runs great with no problems Any reason why it won't stay off?
Have the codes read then you will know why the light is on and where to start to fix the issue. Most auto parts stores will do this for free. If you need help come back with the code or codes and post it.

Got it read it said high air intake sensor I found out it wasn't plugged in lol and another one was
dashboard monitor not complete code p1000 idk what that is though
The p1000 will go away on its on this happens after disconnecting the batteries or clearing codes it has to go through several drive cycles glad you got the other code figured out. There would not be a light if all you have is a p1000. Did the ses light go out on it’s own after plugging in the sensor or did you clear the codes after plugging it in. If so drive the truck as normal and the p 1000 should go away as long as there is nothing else going on and again there should not a light for just that code. If the light is still on or comes back on you’ll need to read the codes again.
