Well, we are both right. I was talking about unloaded ride. An anti-roll bar definitely imparts more side-to-side rocking as the truck hits road imperfections (like going into a gas station at an angle). It is because the truck is so stiff on the roll axis that you feel every imperfection that hits one rear wheel and not the other.
And you are right about roll control when pulling a fifth wheel or if you have a slide-in camper. They are a HUGE help in that way.

Try hitting a driveway curb at an angle and then tell me about rocking. By the way rocking is different than rolling. It is an anti-roll bar. The lack of roll causes additional side--to-side rocking on a uneven surface.
